Who we are
Habib Henna is a henna artistry business run by Amal in Seattle, Washington. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Booking details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, the date and type of booking, the number of guests, your event location and any notes you choose to add.
- Messages: emails between you and Amal about your booking.
- Website usage: we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This uses cookies and similar technology and collects information such as your browser, device and approximate location. It does not collect your booking details.
How we use it
- To receive, review and manage your booking request, and to email you about it, including confirmation, changes, and an appointment calendar file.
- To let you view your booking using a private link or your email and reference code.
- To keep records of past bookings.
- To understand and improve how the website works.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use trusted services to run the website and bookings. They process information only to provide their service to us:
- Google (Firebase and Google Analytics) for storing booking records and measuring website use.
- Netlify for hosting the website and running its booking functions.
- Resend for sending booking emails.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visitors apart and measure use of the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Analytics. The site will still work if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep booking information for as long as we need it to manage your booking and keep our business records. You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will unless we need to keep it for a legal or accounting reason.
Your choices
You can email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will reply as soon as we can.
Children
This website is not aimed at children. If someone under 18 is having henna, please make the booking on their behalf.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
